VTHT 2323 - VETERINARY CLINICAL PATHOLOGY I

In-depth study of hematology and blood chemistries with emphasis on lab procedures. 

Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

  • Perform complete blood counts (CBC's)

  • Differentiate normal from abnormal blood components

  • Perform blood chemistries 

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment

Prerequisites: (Program prerequisites) BIOL  1406 or 1408; MATH 1314 or 1324; ENGL 1301 or 2311; VTHT 1301 

Restrictions: Grade “C” or better in prerequisite courses
